NEXT EVENT! Laps for Charity, Texas Motor Speedway, Saturday, May 19, 4:30pm

Join us as we drive our Mercedes-Benzes on the track at Texas Motor Speedway while contributing to a good cause. Laps for Charity provides a rare opportunity to drive our personal cars around the 1.5-mile superspeedway under controlled conditions. Participants will get to drive laps on the track for a tax-deductible donation to the Texas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. We will enter the track together as a group and follow a TMS pace car around the track at safe speeds. After we finish our laps, we will have a group dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.

Where: The South Tunnel of the Texas Motor Speedway. See map below. When: 4:30pm, Saturday, May 19. Please DO NOT BE LATE. We need to run our laps as a group.
Signup: CLICK to email DJ de Jesus, (817) 319-3033. Please advise number of people and number of cars in your party.
Donations: The entry fee will be a donation to Speedway Children's Charities. Cost is $30 per car. An additional $10 will be charged if you want to have a photo of you and your car taken at Victory Lane. You may have passengers ride with you. Pay at the track. They will accept cash, checks or credit cards.

Important Notes:
   1) To maximize the track experience for everyone, please keep pace and do not drift away from the car in front of you. If there are stragglers, the pace car driver will assume he is going too fast and slow down. We will travel at a very safe speed around the track. Everyone should be comfortable at maintaining the speed set by the pace car.
   2) Drivers must be 18 years of age or older. Passengers must be 6 years of age or older. Driver and occupants must each wear a safety belt. No helmets are required.
   3) No passing. Single file only. Pace Car will set the speed limit.

Dinner: Our group dinner will be at app. 6:00pm. Venue to be determined, but will be close to the track. Pay your own.
