Photos! - Dog Museum and Antique Store Caravan - Waco, Texas - May 28, 2005

Four cars driven by hardy souls showed up to make the trek to Waco despite really ugly weather. Our meeting place was at the Burleson Cracker Barrel and the caravan started well, making about 75-80 mph towards Hillsboro. But then, torrential rain fell, visibility fell to about zero and our little caravan started breaking up. Larry Vaughn, not wanting to risk hail, decided to turn back. But, the survivors linked up with John and Carol Knight at Hillsboro and pressed on.

Only light rain was coming down by the time we arrived at the Antiquibles Mall north of Waco. We perused the artifacts at the dog museum and the goods at the antique store. We then proceeded to Waco's historic Elite Cafe and had a nice lunch together.

Dark and angry skies at Burleson. The picture is not underexposed, folks. It really was this way.
