The Lone Star Section members are proud of their cars. Check out pictures of our members' cars below.
Like 190's? This 1960 model is something to behold. It's
black with a red interior and it looks s-h-a-r-p. Like a lot of us,
the owner has used membership in the Lone Star Section to help get
plenty of tips and help in restoring her Mercedes to original
condition.
Joe's 1958 220SE Coupe was in near complete disassembly
when he purchased it eleven years ago. His painstaking restoration
included the beautiful interior woodwork and complete reconstruction
of the left fender. It's a rare beauty indeed as Mercedes tells Joe
that his car, with its mechanical fuel injection and factory sunroof
may be one of only twenty four built!
When he's not working on his 220SE, Joe devotes himself
to this 190SL. Restoration included full mechanicals, floor pan, trunk
and soft top. This car's a show stopper! It won the very first event
Joe entered it in.
Joe A. owns this immaculate 1985 500SL. He's an
active member and contributor to the club. If you think Joe's car is
good looking in this picture, you're right. It's absolutely stunning!
Does your Mercedes have to be fancy to be put into our
album? Not exactly... Actually, this picture was taken from a club
trip to the boneyard - a great way to locate those hard to find items
for your old Mercedes.
