Tech Session

On April 14th, Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo hosted a Tech-Session for members of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America, Niagara Section. The Event was conducted at their 8185 Main Street, Williamsville New York location. Each pre-registered member had the opportunity to have their car inspected on a lift with Mercedes-Benz technicians pointing out areas needing service, to prepare their cars for the 2012 driving season.

Niagara Section member Ray B. brought his RENNtech E550, which was a real treat for all of us. Ray has not put 100 miles on the odometer yet, as he continues to fit out his high-tech ride. Members also had the opportunity to examine the complete line of 2012 Mercedes-Benz models, and listen to a briefing on new and future Mercedes-Benz technologies presented by Sales Specialist David Frank. A buffet lunch, provided by the Dealership, was available throughout the event.

Guest Speaker Report

One would not expect a 10 year old girl to be installing brake lines or swapping headers. But that's just what our most recent guest was doing when she first became interested in all things automotive. Our January meeting was fortunate to have Lauren Fix (aka "The Car Coach") attend and make a presentation based on her most recent book Lauren Fix's Guide to Loving Your Car...full review.

Niagara Section Christmas Donation

MBCA Co-Hosted Event

Co-hosted by MBCA, the BMW Car Club of America and the Porsche Club of America, this one-day (Friday, August 17) MBCA national special event brings enthusiasts, owners, and aficionados of distinctive German cars together to view three of the finest marques in the world.
