FIRST SUNDAY DRIVES

We meet on the First Sunday of every month for casual, non-competitive drives to and through some of the lesser known areas around the Bay. Any Mercedes-Benz driver is welcome to join in these no-cost events. On a given Sunday our caravan might include anything from a 1955 Gullwing to a new McLaren SLR with a host of every vintage and model in between.

Meeting locations and route directions are delivered via e-mail to the group about two weeks in advance of the drive. To be included on our mailing list just send an e-mail to join@FirstSundayDrives.com. We look forward to having you join us for a drive soon!

Mercedes First Sunday Drives - February 2010

A warm sunny Sonoma morning turned to a cold and windy coastal afternoon for the participants on the March FSD, but the drive was well worth the chills. Starting in Healdsburg we made a stop at the Dry Creek Olive Company where we toured the operations and learned how this great purveyor presses truly top grade oils. We had an opportunity to taste four different Dry Creek Olive Oils and two of their premium vinegars and several drivers sampled some wines in the nearby tasting rooms. A great drive to the coast ensued and we gathered together for picnics in the wind at Fort Ross.

Don't forget, the first weekend in May will be a two day drive through the Gold Country where members of the Sacramento Section will join us. Information is being included with the FSD e-mails but if you're not on the list and want more information contact Rick Perez at riccheri@pacbell.net.

For all the details on future drives, make sure you're on our e-mail list!
