Despite the forecast for inclement weather (which did not happen), 21 members in 11 cars joined us for a country drive, a visit to the newly enlarged Horton Classic Car Museum, and lunch at one of Oklahoma's most famous local-flavor restaurants.

The Horton Classic Car Museum has finished its expansion and now houses over 130 cars, more than double the original number.  We enjoyed seeing one of the best collections of superbly-restored American muscle cars anywhere.

After our museum visit, we crossed the border and had lunch at the McGehee Catfish Restaurant near Marietta, OK, a hard-to find but beloved eatery in the middle of nowhere.  The restaurant sits on a hill overlooking the Red River.  We enjoyed great eat-all-you-can fried catfish, the restaurant’s specialty, and other dishes.
