The Houston Section is proud to announce the return of MBCA National Technical Advisor, George Murphy of Oak Ridge, TN for a Tech Session on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10am to 1pm at Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land. Last year’s Tech Session with George Murphy was so well received that we are bringing him back this year!

The Tech Session will cover the Day-to-Day Care of your Mercedes-Benz.

Does a mysterious light glowing on your car’s dashboard throw you into panic mode? Fear no more! Your MBCA Technical Director George Murphy can help you make the transition from hysteria to amateur mechanic. You’ll learn about all those indicators on the dashboard, the systems they’re tied to, and how to recognize those systems under the hood. You’ll become an expert troubleshooter of strange smells and funny noises. And you’ll get the lowdown on the smartest, safest things to do during on-the-road emergencies (like changing a flat tire). So you can keep your cool the next time automotive adversity comes your way. Be sure to bring to the class the owner’s manual for your car. There will be a quiz!

Admission is $10 per person payable to MBCA Houston via PayPal. Your payment serves as your RSVP and is non-refundable. Space is limited, so pay and RSVP today! The deadline to pay is Wednesday, June 13, 2018, or when space runs out, whenever comes first.

Mark your calendars, send your payment and RSVP, and we’ll see you on June 16th!

About the Presenter: George Murphy has been a member of MBCA since 1978 and in his time with the Club has served as a charter member and President of the Smoky Mountain Section, served on the National Board as Director at Large and National Treasurer, and has conducted seminars at most MBCA national meetings since 1986. Murphy’s technical column, Murphy’s Law, appears in The Star. Additionally, Murphy is the owner of Performance Analysis Company, which among other things, performs motor oil analysis, rebuilds climate control and cruise control components, and manufactures and sells other hard to find Mercedes-Benz parts.
