If you enjoy aircraft history, or just want to hang out with other MBCA members doing something unique, be sure and mark your calendar for November 17. We will be visiting the beautiful new facilities of the Lone Star Flight Museum. You may remember the original location in Galveston was badly damaged from Hurricane Ike. Now they have moved to a purpose-built building that is first rate. The plan is to meet at 10 am for a docent-guided tour of the museum. Scheduled for 11 am is a Living History presentation by retired Col. Don Houk as he brings to life James H. Doolittle and his raid on Tokyo at the outbreak of WW II. Afterward, there will be a sandwich boxed lunch. Weather permitting the ramp will be open where you will be able to see the museum’s PT-17 bi-plane and T-6 trainer aircraft taxi and fly.

Admission, including the boxed lunch, is $22 per person payable to MBCA Houston via PayPal. Your payment serves as your RSVP and is non-refundable. Space is limited, so pay and RSVP today! The deadline to pay is Saturday, November 10, 2018, or when space runs out, whichever comes first.

Mark your calendars, send your payment and RSVP, and we’ll see you on November 17th!

  Hope to see you there!
