This year 6 cars and 12 North Texas members braved the rain and attended the Winnsboro, Texas annual Autumn Parade.  This was the 56th year of the event and our Section has been a part of the parade for several years. Early founders of the event were the Dallas Model A Ford Club and each year over a 100 Model A’s attend the event.  Always exciting to see these old cars still running and in great condition.  The parade route into the city is several miles long and hundreds of kids line the route waiting for the cars in the parade to throw candy and our group doesn’t disappoint them with lots of Halloween treats.  After the parade the group stopped for lunch at CountryBoys BBQ and Sweets for lunch and a raffle.  While the rain kept a lot of our folks away it was a fun day and we enjoyed visiting over lunch.  It is always fun getting out of the big city and being in a rural small east Texas town and seeing what it is like without high rise buildings and lots of traffic.  A fun day even with the rain.
