Chicagoland Section’s Annual Midwest Region Fall Color Tour took place on the weekend of October 25, 2019.  Forty-eight members of the Chicagoland, Iowa Hawkeye, Minnesota, and Wisconsin Sections brought 32 cars to La Crosse, Wisconsin and explored the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin, a very hilly and picturesque area that escaped the Ice Age glaciers, bordering the Mississippi River.  The event was kicked off with a reception on Friday night, October 25th, at the Radisson Hotel La Crosse.  Members then drove the Fall Color Tour on Saturday, October 26th, which provided participants with some great views, magnificent colors, and smiles.  Chicagoland Section also conducted inspections and judging for owners of cars 25 years or older to provide qualifying owners with Silver Star Preservation Certifications from the MBCA National Business Office. The festivities were wrapped up with a group dinner on Saturday night at Piggy’s Restaurant, a local favorite, with an optional walking tour of La Crosse on Sunday sponsored by the Historical Society.
